• A recent study from the University of NSW showed that 38% of deaths for people with intellectual disability were preventable.
• The study also showed that people with intellectual disability die 27 years earlier than the general population.
• There are solutions and the Government has done some work on this but not enough because there are still too many deaths.
• I want the Minister to urgently fully fund the solutions.
• This is a human rights issue. It is about saving lives. We need to fully fund the solutions now.
• Disability discrimination needs to stop.

Consider also including your personal story or your personal thoughts on this important issue.
